A hint of real strings - Part 2

We're following up our previous post with yet another behind the scenes peek into the recording of the final version of our Repose album. This time, we're revealing a new part of the Insolence track that has some proper emphasis on the newly recorded strings!

The Insolence clip was just uploaded to our MySpace and ReverbNation profiles. Go there right away, or check it out using the player on omitmusic.com.

A hint of real strings

As you may already know, we recorded a whole bunch of violin and cello tracks a few weeks ago. This is a part of the ongoing labor to complete recording the very final version of our Repose album.

We just uploaded a tiny little taste to our MySpace and ReverbNation profiles! Go there to check out what it sounds like! The clip has been taken from the track "Fatigue". Feel free to compare the new version to the older promo version. The promo version had no real strings in it.

The recordings of real strings (The physical ones made of wood, you know. Not the fake, digital ones.) are officially well on their way.

We started it off in our studio last weekend, with the very talented violinist Mira Ursic. We're really happy about the results and cannot wait to start recording the cellos... Stay tuned!

The promos are finally on their way! We took some photos of one of the copies the other day. Take a look!

The cases containing two CDs, artwork and a substantial amount of music, will make their way to a select few in the coming days and weeks.
